Description

This course covers industry fundamentals and provides a comprehensive overview of successful manufacturing strategies. Examine the basic concepts and language as well as the relationships among master planning, inventory management, forecasting, just-in-time manufacturing, material requirements planning, capacity management, distribution, production activity control, total quality management, and purchasing. Industry newcomers and those seeking to advance into management roles will benefit from this course.

Upon successful completion, Students will be issued a Certificate of Completion from James Madison University and the Blue Ridge APICS chapter. Students must attend 8 out of 10 sessions to earn the certificate.

Registration Fee: $650

APICS Members save $50.00 at time of registration. Membership will be verified.

Registration fee includes course workbook. Registration fee does not include registration and exam fees for the APICS CPIM exams.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration up to two weeks before the program start date, and receive a full refund (minus $25.00 administrative fee and any credit card processing fees.)
