Description

The Nonprofit Institute is a professional development noncredit certificate program designed to equip today’s nonprofit manager with practical skills for effective leadership.

Each course is designed to:

  • Promote the effectiveness of non-profit leaders, including executive directors, CEOs, managers, and Board members
  • Refine the skills of experienced directors as well as help prepare entry level managers for new roles in the organization
  • Enhance current job performance by providing a “tool box” of practical skills and knowledge for day-to-day operations
  • Promote excellence in non-profit management

Participants must complete at least 20 of the 26 sessions to successfully earn the certificate in Nonprofit Management.


Registration Deadline: September 14, 2018

Space is limited to 25. Registration is on a first-come basis.

Registrations will be accepted until the class is full or the registration deadline, whichever occurs first. Once the program is full, you will have the option to be added to the waitlist and you will be notified if a space becomes available up through the start of the program. Payment is due at time of registration.

Additional program information will be emailed to all paid registrants on or around October 1st.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration and receive a refund minus a $25.00 administrative fee up until Friday, September 14, 2018. After that date, no refunds will be given. Cancellations must be received by email at outreach@jmu.edu.
