Description

Needle felting is an art of using a sharp barbed needle to manipulate wool. This allows the artist to make different forms and sculptures. In this class, the students will be working on numerous Christmas ornaments such as gingerbread men, angels, etc. that would make excellent gifts. We will make at least two types of ornaments per session. No experience is required!

Instructor: Karen Shapcott is an award winning fiber artist. She has been needle felting over 20 years, and she is known for sculptures with facial features. Karen was the Virginia state representative in 2015 for the National Christmas tree featuring her felted gnomes.

Additional Fees: $25 per student payable to the instructor at first class.
