Foundations of Management

The Foundations of Management (FoM) certificate program is designed to provide essential knowledge and tools for supervising new managers, supervisors, and leaders. The FoM is the product of a comprehensive Job Task Analysis study that identified the knowledge, skills and abilities that new supervisors and managers need to perform in today's workplace.

The FoM program comprises approximately 45 hours of learning and includes a custom-published study manual and access to the ICPM e-Learning Center. The e-Learning Center includes multimedia learning content to augment the study manual and practice exams.

Participants who successfully complete the coursework and pass the comprehensive FoM exam receive a certificate of completion to document their achievement. Additionally, participants that go on to apply for the Certified Manager (CM) certification within a 5-year period may use the FoM exam to satisfy one of the two exams required to obtain CM certification.

Student must choose either E-book or book shipping & handling. E-book has no additional charge. If a student wants a physical book, there will be an additional shipping and handling fee of $15.00.

We accept payment online by credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.) There is a $5 processing fee to pay by credit card. If you would like to pay by check, cashier's check or money order, you may click "bill" during the payment step and we will mail you an invoice with instructions on how to remit payment.
