Description

This three part course will cover Social Security and Medicare benefits. 1.)What's needed to qualify for SS, and how benefits are calculated. 2.) Learn how to get the most out of Medicare. Tricky eligibility and enrollment rules can be complicated and cause costly financial mistakes for life. Medication costs, gaps in coverage, and uncovered services are some of the many pitfalls. Learn the best ways to receive the benefits you earn. 3.)The Medicare annual election period, October 15 - December 7, allows members to change their Part D drug plans or Medicare Advantage plans. It is important to review plans each year since drug companies change their rules often. Learn how to compare your current plan and see if another plan is better for your needs.
