We'll start with skin care and make up tips, followed by relaxation through aromas and meditation, followed by an excursion to The Fashion Gallery for tips on styles and accessories to complement our everyday and holiday style.

JohnnaLea Backus is a partner and manager of Smooth Day Spa. A licensed esthetician and nail technician, she serves her clients with care and compassion. In addition to her 14 years' experience in the day-spa industry, JohnnaLea also works as a dental hygienist. JohnnaLea is Laser and IPL certified. When not at Smooth she enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescued Italian Greyhounds, practicing pole dancing as a sport and learning the art of aerial silks.



Deborah Scalise retired in 2012 and she was ready to enjoy doing what she wanted to do! She did yoga teacher training, learned Shiatsu massage, trained in EFT, became a Reiki Master and started working with essential oils. She still takes classes, exploring more interests and ideas. She has done additional training in yin yoga and is especially interested in how yoga can change and affect your fascia and tone your vagus nerve.



Linda Holden graduated with honors in 1973. She holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University 1973-1974. She was a teacher for first grade in Albemarle County School System 1974-1978, teacher for first grade in Augusta County Schools 1978-1981, and a stay-at-home mom 1981-present. She is currently the owner of the, The Fashion Gallery, 111 Lee Highway, Verona, Va.
