This hands-on course teaches students basic techniques for artisan bread baking at home. Students will learn about starters, kneading, scoring, and baking with steam for crusty breads.

LLI members Carolyn Frank, Kay Acker, and Sarah Jones have been baking bread for family and friends for years. They have attended the King Arthur's Baking Institute in Vermont and are excited to share their baking knowledge with fellow LLI members.

Additional fee: There is a $25 per person baking supply fee to be paid to the instructor at the first class session.
