This course will explore the questions, facts, and misconceptions around climate change. Some are concerned about climate change, calling it a climate crisis, while others are dismissive. Some call climate change the greatest moral dilemma ever faced by humankind, others call it a hoax. What does science have to say about the matter? How rapidly is Earth warming? What questions and concerns does this raise about our common future? How should we respond? We will explore all these questions and more.

Les Grady is an emeritus professor of environmental engineering at Clemson University. Since retirement he has devoted much of his time to the study of climate science and climate change.
