Paralegal Studies is an online non-credit certificate program focusing on skills-based training. Our program is divided into four educational components including Introduction to Law, Legal Research & Writing, Civil Litigation, and Contract Law. Each of the educational modules focuses on specific aspects of your legal education. Finally, we include several career development components in the program. These include: Resume Writing and Interview Techniques.

Class meets online Tuesday & Thursday evenings, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., ET.

Admission Requirements: To enroll in this program, you must have at least 1-2 years of office-setting work experience OR a four-year degree in any field. By proceeding with the registration process, you are verifying that you meet the requirements for the program.

Program Completion Requirements: There are a total of five courses including Career Preparation. Assignments and exams will be given online. A minimum of 70% is required to pass each course. An overall average of 75% or better and submission of a career portfolio are required in order to successfully earn your Paralegal Studies certificate. This program is approved for 6.2 CEUs.

Instructor-led online sessions. You will receive an orientation email 4-5 days before class starts.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration up to two weeks prior to the program start date and receive a refund of course registration fees, less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations and refunds after the two week deadline are processed at the discretion of the department.
