Egyptian (Coptic) Orthodox Christianity is ancient and alive. Founded by St. Mark and with churches in more than 40 countries around the world, the deep roots continue to bear fruit. We will explore the art, theology, history, current dynamics, and worship of this Christian tradition. The course will include one field trip to the Coptic Orthodox Church in Staunton, VA.

Upon graduation from Eastern Mennonite University's dual degree program (M.Div. & M.A. in Conflict Transformation) in 2015, he began his current role as the pastor of Immanuel Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg.
