F18B15 Conversational Spanish 2
This course is a continuation of Level 1. Although it is still a basic conversational class, students must be familiar with the usage of basic parts of speech such as nouns, articles, and adjectives. The focus of this level would be to use those parts of speech in a practical manner instead of taking the time to learn them. Also, verbs would be introduced to form basic, but complete, sentences. Although Spanish 1 is not a pre-requisite to enroll in Spanish 2, a student who has never taken Spanish before would find the class too difficult.
IInstructor: Guillermo (Gil) Fernández is a native of Nicaragua who came to the U.S. at age 11. His use of Spanish continued at home as a child, but through his public education in English he is deeply embedded in both languages and cultures. Gil has taught community Spanish classes for various audiences for six years.
