F18T4 Harrisonburg-Rockingham Public Safety Building
This visit to the Harrisonburg Public Safety Building will include a tour of the Harrisonburg Fire Department's museum, led by Erin Stehle. Participants will learn about the history of fire service for the city and how it has evolved into what it is today. Later, Mike Gangloff, with the Harrisonburg Police Department, will inform us about the HPD and its history. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Emergency Communications Center and take a tour inside to see the "voices behind emergencies." These public safety officials are looking forward to meeting our participants and are excited to inform us about the public safety departments of the City of Harrisonburg.
