Faith in the Valley Part II
In the last 35 years, the Shenandoah Valley has attracted people of many different backgrounds and faiths. This class will present pastors of various denominations who share their diverse cultures and beliefs with class members. Represented will be African-American Methodist, Baptist Church, Church of the Brethren, Coptic Orthodox Church, Episcopal Church, Islam and Russian Orthodox Church. Anna Rose Geary coordinated this course. She is a retired middle school/high school reading specialist and history teacher, Staunton City Schools. She has been part of LLI for 13 years serving on the then Social Committee and the Curriculum Committee. She has taken students on trips to Europe for 20 years and LLI members on international trips for 10 years.Please contact our office regarding availability of this course:
