Born and raised in Fishersville, Virginia, Jackson attended Messiah College, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training in 2019. In 2021, Jackson earned his Master's degree in Human Performance from Liberty University while serving as the Athletic Trainer for Liberty's Division 1 Men's Ice Hockey team. Since June of 2022, Jackson has been working at Horizons Edge Sports Campus, currently in his role as the Sports and Fitness Director and the primary personal trainer at the facility. Coach Lohr has presented as a researcher and speaker at multiple conferences, including the American College of Sports Medicine Mid-Atlantic Conference, The Messiah College Annual Research Symposium (multiple occasions), the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainer's Society Annual Conference, and the National Safety Council's Southeast Regional Convention.
