Basic Flower Arranging
*There is an additional fee of $40 per person for floral supplies payable at the first class to the instructor. Class 1 - Flower care and preservation. We will learn how to keep your flowers lasting longer and what tools to use. Class 2 - Vase Arranging. You will learn how to arrange flowers using a regular vase, floral foam base, and chicken wire as your base. Class 3 - Corsage/Boutonnieres - You will learn how to make a wrist corsage and boutonnieres that can be worn at a wedding, prom, or any special event. Class 4 - Just For Fun- Each student will bring their own container and will make an arrangement using one of the techniques learned and we will have a class contest. Jennifer Phillips - Business Owner/Floral Designer of two businesses - Vase & Vine Wedding and Event Florals and Blue Ridge Florist & Gift Shop. Married and have 6 children, 1 granddaughter, a dog, and several cats. I love all things creative. I enjoy spending time painting, sewing, weave baskets, do paper quilling, working with stained glass, and pottery.
