This online course combines instruction in photo composition, independent visits to local sites, and group critique of photos submitted by students.
Students will learn about various composition rules including the rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, and other techniques to help take better photographs. We will also learn about digital upload and storage via Google Photos.
Students will receive photography tips, help with wayfinding to the most beautiful places for nature photography, and feedback from a professional photographer and members of the class.
All group meetings will be hosted via Zoom. Detailed directions will be provided for each local site and students are free to visit on their schedule.
