The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program includes a total of 80 hours of online education with 40 hours of self-paced learning and 40 hours of live instructor-led online sessions.
**Instructor-led online sessions meet Monday-Thursday from 6:30pm-9:00pm ET on Weeks 3 & 4 and Weeks 7 & 8.
Admission Requirements: To enroll in the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification program, you must have a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. By proceeding with the registration process, you are verifying that you meet the requirements for the program by possessing a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Program Completion Requirements: In order to earn your Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you must score at least a 70% on the final exam, successfully complete an independent Black Belt project* and, not miss more than one of the live lectures. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt through James Madison University.
*Your independent project consists of improving a process within your own organization. Your instructor will provide additional information and guidance.
