This educational opportunity is designed to provide a participant with a working knowledge of an internal combustion automotive engine, featuring a significant hands-on component. Classroom time will include discussion of basic concepts of the internal combustion engine, the plus/minus of different automotive designs and a working knowledge of the combustion cycle. Hands-on laboratory experience will include assembling a vintage automotive engine from the ground up, with goal of making it actually run to conclude the Institute.
