S16C10 Learn to 3D Print

Description: 3D printing is gaining popularity and becoming more available through consumer level 3D printers that are affordable. In this class participants will learn how to design their own personalized 3D object and learn how to 3D print their object. No previous experience required. We will be using Mac computers to design objects.

Instructors: Jamie Calcagno-Roach is a senior instructional designer in the Center for Instructional Technology at JMU. Daniel Robinson is the associate director for the Institute for Visual Studies at JMU. Together with Rebecca Field, they co-manage the 3SPACE.


Payment Information: Payment is due at time of registration and must be made by credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.) There is a $5 credit card convenience fee assessed at the time of payment. You will be redirected to the payment web site after clicking submit. Please have your credit card ready. Once payment is successfully completed, you will receive a payment receipt and a registration confirmation by email.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration up to one week before the class start date, and receive a full refund (minus any credit card processing fees.) After that date, no refunds will be given.
