Fairy Tales: Redemption of the Feminine through the Archetypal World
For generations, fairy tales have been regarded as children's stories, yet they are so much more. For example, in European and American cultures, fairy tales explore redemption of the feminine. This course will explore a method for the psychological interpretation of fairy tales provided by Carl Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz. We will also journey into the archetypal world to learn about modern day application.
Instructor: Pamela Beverage, Ed. D., LPC has completed 13 years of post-doctoral studies in Jungian psychology. Currently, she is a senior analytic candidate in Switzerland at the Research and Training Centre for Depth Psychology. She has facilitated group discussions for more than 40 years.
