Spanish 3
This course is a continuation of Spanish 2. Although still a basic conversational class, it builds upon the basic parts of speech learned in previous courses. The goal is to use nouns, articles, and adjectives in practical speech and simple conversation. We will also introduce verbs to form basic but complete sentences. Participants will develop confidence with basic grammatical concepts and vocabulary through repetitive opportunities to communicate in Spanish during class. Although Spanish 2 is not a pre-requisite to enroll in Spanish 3, a student who does not know basic Spanish will find the class too difficult.Instructor: Guillermo (Gil) Fernández is a native of Nicaragua who came to the United States at age 11. His use of Spanish at home and public education in English encouraged him to become deeply embedded in both languages and cultures. As a bilingual and bicultural educator, Gil has taught community Spanish classes for various audiences over the past six years.
