Advanced Watercolor

Participants will pay an additional $25 to cover the cost of supplies for the course.

Advanced watercolor will build on the basic skills we acquired in the first watercolor class offered in the fall. More advanced methods are explored such as wet-into-wet which is a technique easy to master. We also use collage and employ more tools such as salting, mixed media and liquid watercolor as well as watercolor pencils and Inktense pencils. Through lecture, demonstration, projects and critiques this class is designed to introduce you to advanced tools and techniques of the art of watercolor though anyone with some experience will gain additional skills with this class.
