The Heifetz International Music Institute, located on the campus of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA, has a world-renowned reputation for developing the next generation of brilliant string players through a unique training program that combines traditional pedagogy with the Institute's trademark Performance and Communication Training ©, pioneered by the Institute's Founder & Artistic Director Daniel Heifetz. In addition to private lessons, studio classes and chamber music coaching from top-notch faculty, each Heifetz Institute student develops skills in Voice, Public Speaking, Drama, Improvisation, Movement, Health & Wellness, and Freedom of Expression. Students share their training during the Institute's 41-event Festival of Concerts.

Please join LLI members and attend a Heifetz Sunday Matinee during the Institute's 20th Anniversary season in 2016. You will witness this transformative experience showcasing the Institute's brilliant students playing alongside the Institute's renowned faculty. Following the performance, the Institute's Executive Director Benjamin K. Roe will lead a talkback discussion with the artists.

Date: A Sunday afternoon in July 2016. After the schedule has been finalized, a date will be chosen from among the following Sundays, July 3, 10, 17, 24, or 31. Notification of the chosen dated will be sent to all LLI members.

Time: 2:00 p.m.

Place: Francis Auditorium on Mary Baldwin's Campus, 227 East Frederick Street.

Parking: On campus

Registration fee: $12.00

Payment Information: Payment is due at time of registration and must be made by credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.) There is a $5 credit card convenience fee assessed at the time of payment. You will be redirected to the payment web site after clicking submit. Please have your credit card ready. Once payment is successfully completed, you will receive a payment receipt and a registration confirmation by email.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration up to one week before the class start date, and receive a full refund (minus any credit card processing fees.) After that date, no refunds will be given.
