Whether you are a full time project manager or just starting your career in a project management role, JMU's Project Management Certificate is designed to provide professionals with the skills to successfully plan and manage corporate projects and procedures. Our non-credit certificate program provides professionals with the skills and knowledge of running successful projects, giving them a competitive edge within the marketplace. Our program thoroughly explores the inner and outer workings of project logistics, management, constraints, risks and execution necessary to deliver projects within the desired scope. Individuals who earn their project management certificate will have the expertise to execute successful projects.

This program provides the 35 hours of education training required to take the PMP® certification exam. Course tuition fee does not cover registration for the PMP certification exams. For more information regarding the exam requirements, visit the Project Management Institute website.

*This flexible online option meets for three weeks and includes six 2-hour live instructor-led virtual classroom sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The entire program is hosted in a virtual environment: from the curriculum modules and the instructor-led sessions.

Registration Deadline: Registration closes 2 weeks prior to class start date. Late registrations may be accepted up to 5 business days prior to the class start date and will incur a $25 late registration fee for rush shipping.

Once payment is successfully completed, you will receive a payment receipt and a registration confirmation by email. There is a $5 credit card convenience fee assessed at the time of payment. Instructor-led online sessions meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. You will receive an orientation email approx 3 business days prior to class start date. You must complete the assigned online modules within time allowed and attend all live lectures to receive your certificate.

WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY: You may cancel your registration up to two weeks before the program start date, and receive a full refund (minus a $25.00 administrative fee and any credit card processing fees.) After that date, no refunds will be given. Participants may transfer to a future program (within one year of your original program), based on availability, with no penalty. Please email us at
