Stress, restlessness, anxiousness, and anxiety:
states of mind, body, and spirit we’ve ALL
experienced. Sometimes temporarily, sometimes
over longer periods of time. Sometimes due to
world events, sometimes due to something very
personal. In this class, we’ll explore Kundalini Yoga
techniques–such as pranayama (breathwork),
mantra (intentional sound), mudra (hand
positioning), dhristi (eye focus), kriya (action/
exercise), and meditation–that specifically address
stress, restlessness, anxiousness, and anxiety. We’ll
close each class with soothing yogic rest and
homemade yogi tea. Participants are asked to dress
comfortably and bring a yoga mat and blanket(s).
Chairs will be available and we’ll explore
modifications for every exercise to meet our bodies’
individual needs. No previous experience with any
type of yoga is necessary. Kundalini Yoga can be
practiced by anyone, by ANY body.
